About my Partner
People ask me about ‘the dog’ often. Yes, he is mine, and has been with me since the start of my agency. Aidan, a West Highland White Terrier, was generally involved in all conference calls, client calls and any proposals that were sent out. As my ‘silent partner,’ Aidan quietly ‘reviewed’ what was going on, either at his post under my desk or in a spot adjacent to my desk throughout the day. His support was invaluable, and confidentiality was important to him too.
Aidan was born 2/13/95 and has been fortunate to have Siobhan, his ‘life partner’ around since January 1996. They are the parents of five pups, long since headed out to other homes. Unfortunately, Aidan toughed out a long nasty bout of cancer but it outlasted him. He did make it to the ripe old age of 16 before crossing ‘The Rainbow Bridge.’
So now little Siobhan has taken the lead, assisting as the model in the ‘Your Personal Shopper for Insurance’ logo, and she’s a delight. In June 2011 we found her a new sidekick, a terrific ‘rescue’ dog named Winston. They will continue on the ‘little white dog’ tradition of my agency.
